Day 1
FLIGHT TO SEATTLE:
Our exciting
adventure begins with Christian
Tours as we travel to the Charlotte
Douglas airport for our flight to Seattle.
Upon arrival, we are transferred to
our floating home for the next seven
nights, the Carnival Spirit.Day 2
AT SEA:
Take time today to
become acquainted with this
gorgeous ship. Onboard activities can
be found around every corner! Relax
in a lounge chair and look for whales,
read a book, or take a nap! Enjoy tasty
meals as you have the choice of the
dining room, buffet, or perhaps one
of the themed specialized eateries.Day 3
CRUISE TRACY ARM FJORD:
One
of the most spectacular cruise
destinations on earth, Tracy Arm Fjord
is actually made up of two separate
fjords. Each fjord is over 30 miles
long, and a full one-fifth of their area
is covered in ice. With hundreds of
waterfalls, giant chunks of sliding ice
and a huge variety of native wildlife,
you won't even want to blink as you
cruise past this natural wonder.Day 4
SKAGWAY:
In a single year from
1896 to 1897, this remote town
along the Inside Passage grew from
a few tents to a city of 20,000 gold
seekers. Today, travelers come in
search of other riches – to experience
yesteryear along Skagway's charming
boardwalk lined with buildings that
replicate those Gold Rush days, like
saloons and dance-hall revues. You
might choose to take the optional
scenic 40-mile ride on the White
Pass Scenic Railway that served the
Gold Rush to the Klondike in 1898.Day 5
JUNEAU:
Arise this morning in the
capital city of Juneau. Juneau has
been called “Alaska's peak experience”
due in part to its unparalleled glacier
viewing from such places as Tracy
Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and
Glacier Bay National Park. The majestic
Mendenhall Glacier lies approximately
12 miles outside Juneau and is a sight
we won't want to miss. This afternoon
is definitely a highlight of our cruise
as we cruise past Sawyer Glacier.
We'll see twin glaciers tucked at the
end of a 3-mile fjord, and listen for
the crack of chunks giving way and
calving into the sea!Day 6
KETCHIKAN:
Its Tlingit Indian
name, Kach Khanna, means
“spread wings of the eagle.” Chances
are we'll see one of these magnificent
birds perched atop a Sitka tree. Thanks
to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is
surrounded by some of the world's
most lush wilderness, evidenced by
the 2.2 million acres of the Misty Fjords
National Monument. Ketchikan is also
known as the “salmon capital of the
world.” Here, we can see the world's
largest collection of totem poles.Day 7
VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA:
Our final stop is in Victoria, the
capital city of British Columbia,
Canada. You may choose to roam the
spacious lawns at stunning Butchart
Gardens with its exotic flora, unusual
topiary and exquisite fountains. Or
perhaps explore historic Bastion
Square with the treasures of Chinatown
and the many sights and sounds to
be found along the boardwalk of the
Inner Harbor, before reboarding the
ship for our final evening.Day 8
SEATTLE • HOME:
This morning
finds us back in Seattle where we
disembark and join our flights home.
