This tour is designed for you to travel on the 8-day cruise portion of our 11-day Anchorage-Denali Express
& Inside Passage Glacier Cruise tour that arrives in Alaska on August 9. Because of this, our tour director
will not be flying with you. Call for more information.
Day 1
FLIGHT TO ANCHORAGE •
NORWEGIAN SPIRIT:
Your exciting
adventure begins with Christian Tours
as we travel to the Charlotte Douglas
airport for our flight to Anchorage. Upon
arrival, you are transferred to Seward
and welcomed on board the Norwegian
Spirit, our floating home for the next
seven nights. We'll enjoy dinner on
board this evening.
Day 2
VALDEZ (KEYSTONE CANYON):
If you're interested in dramatic
landscapes and diverse wildlife, then
Valdez is for you. Ideally nestled along
Prince William Sound, this picturesque
town seems to have it all—towering
mountains, wildflower-carpeted meadows,
iceberg-dotted waters and expansive
glaciers. Feel Free to go a little wild
on an optional shore excursion, from
fishing and whale watching to glacier
hikes and much more. Or, explore the
town's Gold Rush history, browse local
shops and savor fresh seafood.
Day 3
CRUISE HUBBARD GLACIER:
Get up close and personal with
the gigantic Hubbard Glacier, North
America's largest tidewater glacier. It
is 76 miles long, 7 miles wide, and 600
feet tall: 1350 square miles of blue ice
and one of the most active in Alaska.
Day 4
SKAGWAY:
In a single year from 1896
to 1897, this remote town along the
Inside Passage grew from a few tents
to a city of 20,000 gold seekers. Today,
travelers come in search of other riches
– to experience yesteryear along Skagway's
charming boardwalk lined with
buildings that replicate those Gold Rush
days, like saloons and dance-hall revues.
You might choose to take the optional
scenic 40-mile ride on the White Pass
Scenic Railway that served the Gold
Rush to the Klondike in 1898.
Day 5
JUNEAU:
Juneau has been called
“Alaska's peak experience,” certainly
due in part to its unparalleled glacier
viewing from such places as Tracy Arm
Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier
Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the
area's many protected waterways, go
flightseeing, tour historic downtown or
try your hand at panning for gold. The
majestic Mendenhall Glacier lies nearly
12 miles outside Juneau, a trek worthwhile.
Day 6
KETCHIKAN:
It's Tlingit Indian name,
Kach Khanna, means “spread wings
of the eagle.” Chances are we'll see one
of these magnificent birds perched atop
a Sitka tree. Thanks to its abundant rainfall,
Ketchikan is surrounded by some of
the world's most lush wilderness evidenced
by 2.2 million acres of the Misty
Fjords National Monument. Ketchikan
is also known as the “salmon capital of
the world.” Here, we can see the world's
largest collection of totem poles!
Day 7
AT SEA:
Enjoy a fun day at sea exploring
all the Norwegian Spirit has
to offer! When it comes to entertainment,
there's never a dull moment. Tickle
your funny bone during our comedy
variety show inside the Stardust Theatre.
Rock the night away with this high energy
party that celebrates the sounds of soul
to the raw force of Rock 'n' Roll, or put
on your best attire and dance the night
away at Norwegian's Night Out.
Day 8
VANCOUVER • HOME:
Our ship
docks in Vancouver early this
morning. You are transferred
to the airport for your
flight back home.
