Day 1

SHENANDOAH VALLEY:

Welcome aboard! This morning we begin our nine day excursion to witness some of the most spectacular fall foliage you've ever set eyes on. Tonight's lodging is in the area of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Day 2

CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS • NIAGARA FALLS:

This morning's ride takes us through picturesque Pennsylvania and into New York. We pause en route for a tour of Corning Museum of Glass, home of the famous Steuben Crystal Glass. The museum exhibits more than 16,000 objects dating from 1500 B.C. See the Steuben Glass Blowers and shop in the Corning outlet store. From here we continue through the glistening Finger Lakes Region of New York state. Late this afternoon we arrive in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. You'll see the spectacular Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls. After checking into our hotel you may want to spend more time at the Falls.
Day 3

SKYLON TOWER • NIAGARA FALLS TOUR • TORONTO • DINNER:

This morning we view the falls from high above, atop the Skylon Tower. We'll also visit the Whirlpool overlook and see the beautiful floral clock on our guided tour of the Niagara Falls area before we leave Niagara and cross the Welland Ship Channel. Here ships from many parts of the world move to and from the Great Lakes. We follow the upper shore to Lake Ontario to Canada's largest city, Toronto. This city of 2.8 million people offers Broadway Theater, gourmet dining, and a maze of underground shopping centers served by one of the world's finest subway systems. We drive by the world's largest self-supporting structure, the CN Tower, towering more than 1/3 mile above the ground. This evening we have dinner at one of Toronto's popular restaurants. (D)
Day 4

1000 ISLANDS BOAT CRUISE • BOLDT CASTLE • OTTAWA:

On our way to Ottawa, we board a boat on the St. Lawrence Seaway for a cruise of the 1,000 Islands. You'll hear the history of the mighty St. Lawrence Seaway and tour deserted Boldt Castle. Now we enjoy a leisurely drive to Ottawa, Canada's Capital City and a center of grace and charm. We spend two nights in Ottawa.
Day 5

OTTAWA CITY TOUR • CANADIAN MUSEUM OF HISTORY • DINNER:

This morning you'll enjoy a tour of Canada's finest city! See the distinguished build- ings of Parliament Hill, Peace Tower, and the imposing residence of Canada's Governor General, with its beautiful parks and gardens. We'll have time for lunch and shopping in the market area. This afternoon we explore the immense Canadian Museum of History, a vast new state-of-the-art facility illustrating Canada's history and heritage over more than 1,000 years of settlement. Tonight you're in for a real treat as we sit down together for dinner this evening. (D)
Day 6

MONTREAL • CITY TOUR:

This morning our journey continues along the Ottawa River, then by the St. Lawrence Seaway where we see ocean-going vessels traveling from the Great Lakes to the Atlantic. Entering the Province of Quebec, we're soon in Montreal, the second largest Frenchspeaking city in the world. We enjoy a complete sightseeing tour of this dynamic city. See the Basilica of Notre Dame de Montreal, with its magnificent interior, St. Joseph's Oratory, and beautiful Mt. Royal Park. Particularly impressive is the cleanliness of the city and its many beautifully landscaped parks. We enjoy dinner together this evening. (D)
Day 7

ADIRONDACK MOUNTAINS • NATIONAL BASEBALL HALL OF FAME - COOPERSTOWN • BINGHAMTON:

From Montreal we head south back into the USA and through the Adirondack Mountains. Our journey continues to Cooperstown, on the shores of Lake Ostego. Here we visit the world's greatest shrine to our national pastime, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Multimedia presentations, memorabilia and plaques honor the game's all-time greats. We continue to Binghamton for our overnight.
Day 8

STEAMTOWN NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE • DINNER:

In Scranton, we visit Steamtown National Historic Site Visitors Center. This is the only National Park solely dedicated to the history of steam railroading and the people who made it happen. We continue our drive, enjoying the beautiful Pocono mountain scenery. This evening we enjoy dinner together reminiscing about the amazing sights we've seen this past week. (D)
Day 9

HOME:

Today we relax, enjoy the passing scenery, and talk with our new friends as we make our way home, taking with us the memories of a wonderful tour through Canada's beautiful fall foliage.
