Our next stop reflects on the life of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd President of our country. FDR Presidential Library and Museum, located on the eastern shore of the Hudson River, holds special interactive exhibits and rarely seen artifacts that convey the dramatic story of the Roosevelt era. Check out the keepsakes in the Museum Store before we depart for dinner. (D)

BOSTON TOUR • QUINCY MARKET • DINNER:

Today we are off to Boston, home of the American Revolution, the Boston Red Sox and more cultural events than we have time to experience. Take time to explore Quincy Market and grab lunch at one of the restaurants before we continue our tour. Check out Beacon Hill, the most photographed street in the US and America's oldest college, Harvard University. Snap some photos of Fenway Park. Wear comfy shoes because there's so much to see in this town! Dinner is included tonight. (D)
Day 6

THE COTTAGES AT THE BERKSHIRES • STOCKBRIDGE MA • NORMAN ROCKWELL MUSEUM AND STUDIO •EDGEWOOD MD:

The Berkshires are calling us! During America's Gilded Age, the post-Civil War and post-Reconstruction era, the nation's wealthiest families built monumental country estates in the Berkshires in Massachusetts. The first time you see a Berkshire Cottage you may wonder, “What is that?” because the “cottage” may now be a luxury hotel, a house museum, or even a restaurant. Or it may still be what long ago it was built to be—a private home. Be prepared to be amazed at the grandeur and take lots of photos! Stockbridge is the quintessential New England village nestled in the Berkshires Mountains and where Norman Rockwell settled down to create his amazing body of work. We have time for lunch on our own as we explore Stockbridge. The Norman Rockwell Museum and Studio house the largest collection of his works, including all his Saturday Evening Post covers. It may surprise you how prolific he was and the depth of meaning and effort he put into each work. Then it's time to board our motorcoach and travel to Edgewood Maryland as we begin our journey south.
