Day 1

SOMERSET, PA:

Today we travel through the mountains of Virginia and Pennsylvania as we make our way north to Somerset for an overnight stay.

Day 2

FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL AND CHAPEL • JIMMY STEWART HOMETOWN TOUR AND MUSEUM:

Today we honor the heroes of Flight 93 on our visit to the memorial and museum located at the crash site. Stopping at the Tower of Voices, we remember the heroic actions of these 40 passengers that thwarted the planned attack on the US Capitol. Traveling on to Indiana, PA, we celebrate a legend. Many famous entertainers have come out of Pennsylvania; however, few have attained as much acclaim and long-lasting fame as Indiana County native Jimmy Stewart. The museum chronicles the life of Stewart from his childhood in Indiana, PA, to his movie and military career. When we enter the exhibit area, we walk past a larger-thanlife statue of Stewart, and then through the actual front door of his Hollywood home. Get your camera ready! Dinner tonight is included before checking into our hotel. (D)

Day 3

ZIPPO-CASE KNIVES MUSEUM AND STORE • KINZUA SKY WALK • GATEWAY CLIPPER DINNER CRUISE • PITTSBURGH, PA:

Bradford, Pennsylvania is home to Zippo lighters and Case knives, where fans and collectors from across the globe gather to experience the rich history of these two American icons. Explore this 15,000 square foot attraction that includes the world famous Zippo Repair Clinic and Zippo/Case flagship store. Fourteen custom-made Zippo street lighters line the drive leading up to the building. Over the entrance towers a 40-foot Zippo lighter with pulsating neon flame and an enormous Case Canoe three-blade pocket knife. Known as one of the top 10 most scenic skywalks in the world, Kinzua Sky Walk is a spectacular walkway where we can “Walk the Tracks Across the Sky” out to a partial glass-bottomed observation deck. Standing about 300 feet above the gorge, we have spectacular views. Early evening we board the Gateway Clipper for a Dinner Cruise. Enjoy an evening on the water, filled with food, music, and beautiful sights as the sun sets on the Three Rivers. (D)

Day 4

DURBIN ROCKET TRAIN • ELKINS, WV • GANDY DANCER DINNER THEATRE:

In century-old Durbin, the Durbin Rocket Excursion Train is powered by the unique Heisler No. 6 locomotive – a coal-fired steam engine with ties to West Virginia's historic rail and logging industry. Departing the Durbin Depot we'll ride behind Heisler No. 6 as she steams along the free-flowing Greenbrier River in northern Pocahontas County. The ride covers 10.5 miles in 2 hours and offers many beautiful river and mountain views in the Monongahela National Forest. We'll check into our hotel in Elkins, WV, after which we'll enjoy a variety show at the Gandy Dancer Theatre in Elkins WV, featuring impersonations, good-time comedy interludes, and just pure fun for all ages. This show will grab your attention no matter how old you are! The “Gandy Dancers” bring you out of your seat with their charming, high energy performances. An included down-home dinner will fill our tummies to overflowing while we enjoy entertainment at its best. (D)

Day 5

NEW RIVER GORGE • TAMARACK • HOME:

Enjoy the beauty of the New River Gorge as we travel towards home. Enjoy lunch and take time to browse the selection of handmade West Virginia arts and crafts at Tamarack. En route home you can start thinking about your next great adventure with Christian Tours!
