More than just the mountain, Denali National Park is six- million acres of wild land. This morning we board a Denali tour bus and travel into Denali National Park to enjoy the incredible scenery and some of the best opportunities to see wildlife, such as bear, moose, caribou and Dall sheep, in their natural setting. A light snack is included during our tour. This afternoon we have some free time to enjoy Denali National Park and attend the dog sled demonstration.
Day 4

ALASKA WILDLIFE CONSERVATION CENTER • SEWARD • NORWEGIAN JEWEL:

Today we continue south down the Turnagain Arm along the Seward Highway, with its spectacular view of the Cook Inlet and Chugach Mountains. We enjoy a stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Dedicated to the protection and preservation of Alaska’s Wildlife, animals that cannot be released back into the wild are given a permanent home at the Center. This afternoon we board the Norwegian Jewel for our exciting cruise! Day 6

ICY STRAIT POINT:

Icy Strait Point is the ideal landing spot for adventurers seeking a new experience. Breathtaking and exciting, Icy Strait Point truly takes you where the wild things are. It’s one of the few places in the world where wildlife outnumbers the human population. An optional tour here can certainly satisfies your taste for adventure.
Day 7

JUNEAU:

Juneau has been called “Alaska’s peak experience,” certainly due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the area’s many protected waterways, go sightseeing, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold. The majestic Mendenhall Glacier lies nearly 12 miles outside Juneau, a trek worthwhile.
Day 8

SKAGWAY:

In a single year from 1896 to 1897, this remote town along the Inside Passage grew from a few tents to a city of 20,000 gold seekers. Today, travelers come in search of other riches – to experience yesteryear along Skagway’s charming boardwalk lined with buildings that replicate those Gold Rush days, like saloons and dance-hall revues. You might choose to take the optional scenic 40-mile ride on the White Pass Scenic Railway that served the Gold Rush to the Klondike in 1898.
Day 9

KETCHIKAN:

It’s Tlingit Indian name, Kach Khanna, means “spread wings of the eagle.” Chances are we’ll see one of these magnificent birds perched atop a Sitka tree. Thanks to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by some of the world’s most lush wilderness evidenced by 2.2 million acres of the Misty Fjords National Monument. Ketchikan is also known as the “salmon capital of the world.” Here, we can see the world’s largest collection of totem poles!
