We transfer to the Charlotte- Douglas Airport this morning for our flight to Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon arriving in Las Vegas, we’re met by our deluxe motorcoach. We’ll spend the next two nights at one of the famous hotels along the “Strip.” By its name alone, Las Vegas summons images of neon lights, elaborate hotels and casinos.

This morning we travel to Boulder City, Nevada, where we tour Hoover Dam. Take an elevator deep into the heart of the dam to learn about the process of construction and to see the massive turbines that provide power for millions of people. It is truly one of the world’s great engineering wonders. The rest of the day you are on your own to explore and experience Las Vegas, Nevada’s largest city, at your leisure. Walk or ride down the famous “Strip,” lined from one end to the other with glittering hotels, night clubs, and casinos. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, darkness falls and it becomes a whole new place. This evening you may choose to add an (Optional) exciting 3 1/2 hour “Bright Lights Jeep Tour” of Las Vegas. This tour cruises the iconic Las Vegas strip with a chance to take in many of the city’s most wellknown landmarks. It includes several picture stops and “Vegas Experiences,” including a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel overlooking the Vegas strip and the volcano show at The Mirage. (Optional: Approx. $130 per person)

Today we’ll set our sights on a natural wonder, the Grand Canyon. We travel through spectacular red cliffs, stands of aspen, cedar, and oak, along with abundant wildflowers to reach the South Rim, which is 7000 feet above sea level. Here, the canyon is a flat mile to the bottom, one of the most spectacular examples of erosion anywhere in the world. Grand Canyon is unmatched in the incomparable vistas it offers to visitors on the Rim. Enjoy the sights of this natural wonder with its exceptional views and photo opportunities! We overnight just outside the Grand Canyon.

This morning we make our way through the Coconino National Forest into Oak Creek Canyon. Our stop at Oak Creek Canyon Vista allows you to see what awaits you down the road. Here you can also shop for Native American jewelry and other craft items from the local Native American artists. The splendor of the red rock formations in and around Sedona awaits us. You’ll marvel at the breathtaking beauty. Sedona is located in the high southwestern desert at the southern end of Oak Creek Canyon. In addition to being a popular site location for western films and commercials, it is also a center for contemporary and traditional arts. We overnight in the Sedona area.

Our vacation of wonders, both natural and man-made, comes to an end today as we board our flight back to Charlotte.
