Day 1

Arriving in Atlanta, we visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Park to hear his story and see how he was an instrument for social change. Next, we visit the Georgia Aquarium housing over 100,000 animals. Learn about whale sharks, beluga whales, manta rays, penguins and sea lions. Don’t miss the sea lion & dolphin presentations, and 4D Theater. We check into our hotel for the night.

Day 2

We begin our day with a visit to Zoo Atlanta which houses one of North America’s largest populations of great apes. Look for the giant pandas, African elephants, southern white rhinos, and more! At the World of Coca-Cola, you get a behind-the-scenes look at the bottling process, try your hand at mixing up your own fizzy drink recipe, see how you look inside a container of bubby cola, and check out Coca-Cola advertisements throughout the years. At the famous Varsity we enjoy lunch. Be prepared for their iconic phrase, “What’ll Ya Have?” when you step up to the counter. We return home later this evening. (L)
