Get your hands ready for clapping and your feet ready for tapping! We are heading to Branson for Praisefest! A 3-day retreat overflowing with fantastic Gospel Music and great speakers, Praisefest has become a favorite destination for music lovers to come.

Just a short drive away is our lunch stop, Lambert’s. For the unfamiliar, Lambert’s offers us the biggest family-style meal you have ever seen with built-in entertainment – we get to catch our food (giant yeast rolls) as they are flying through the air (having been thrown to us by our server). When we’ve had our fill, we waddle on out to our coach, ready to take a nap as we travel on west to Branson. We check into our hotel for a 3 night stay. Tonight, Clay Cooper and his gang of entertainers brings us outstanding music in a fun-filled family-friendly performances like we’ve never seen. (L)

Today we travel to 10,000 acres of outdoor paradise at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. Sit back and enjoy the natural beauty and rugged scenery of the Ozark Mountains on a guided wildlife tram tour before an included lunch. This evening, we take our seats at The Mansion for opening session of Praisefest which will include performances by gospel sensations Legacy Five, Endless Highway, and Greater Vision plus preacher, singer and songwriter Charles Billingsley. Praisefest continues this morning with beautiful gospel sounds brought by The Hoppers, The Inspirations Quartet of Texas and Charles Billingsley. Enjoy browsing and an included lunch at Branson Craft Mall. Then explore downtown Branson and stop by Dick’s 5 & 10 to pick up some souvenirs and keepsakes. Our evening session of Praisefest overflows with more great gospel songs performed by Gold City, Greater Vision, Joseph Habedank and Tribute Quartet. (L)

Grab some breakfast before we head over to The Mansion for the final session of Praisefest. Rounding out this amazing event are gospel greats Triumphant Quartet, Authentic Unlimited, Greater Vision and Jamey Ragle. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon before a delicious, included Italian dinner. Tonight, we are entertained by one of Branson’s original performing families. The Presley’s Country Jubilee is a one-of-a-kind mix of country, gospel, bluegrass, and hilarious comedy! (D)

We begin our journey towards home, stopping at The Laura Ingalls Wilder House, a historic house museum and the home of author Laura Ingalls Wilder and where she began writing the much-loved television series, Little House on the Prairie, while living there. We have an included dinner tonight at one of Western Kentucky’s favorite restaurants. (D)

Great music. Great food. Great fun. What a fantastic Branson experience we have had!
