Day 1

CHRISTMASTOWN AT CREATION MUSEUM • DINNER:

We begin our holiday journey today by riding through the mountains of Tennessee and continuing north through Kentucky. Later this afternoon, we experience the wonder that surrounded Christ’s birth when we visit “ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum.” Inside the museum, we will journey through a visual presentation of the history of the world based on the “7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation.” Tonight, stroll through the museum’s botanical gardens amid the lively and breathtaking display of thousands of multi-colored lights and reflect on the true meaning of the season at the live nativity. A dinner is included at Noah’s Cafe. After all the festivities, we check into our hotel for a good night’s rest. (D)

Day 2

CINCINNATI CITY TOUR • BB RIVERBOAT HOLIDAY LUNCH CRUISE • CHRISTMASTIME AT THE ARK ENCOUNTER:

After breakfast, with our step-on guide we explore the rich history of Cincinnati as they point out the many interesting buildings and sights the city offers. Now we board the BB Riverboat and set sail on a holiday lunch cruise along the Ohio River. In late afternoon, we arrive at our destination for the event, “Christmas Time at the Ark Encounter.” Here we “board” a full-scale replica of Noah’s Ark, which offers us three floors to explore, witness the Bible come to life while imagining what life would have been like living on the Ark. The Ark and gardens will be illuminated in rainbow-colored lights this evening. Wander outdoors to visit the Ararat Ridge Zoo, enjoy festive and traditional Christmas carols, or browse through the massive fair-trade market and gift shop for Christmas gifts. Later this evening, we check into our Lexington area hotel. (L)

Day 3

RUSSELL STOVER CHOCOLATES • HOME:

On our way home we’ll make a stop at Russell Stover Chocolates, an American made candy & chocolate classic. We arrive home this evening full of Christmas joy and excited to celebrate the wonderful Christmas season.
