Day 1

NATIONAL HARBOR • 3 NIGHTS GAYLORD NATIONAL RESORT • DINNER:

Early evening we arrive at National Harbor, home to more than 150 diverse shops and boutiques and over 30 dining locations. Its vibrant downtown atmosphere along with Tanger Outlets are all within walking distance of our hotel. We check-in to our home for the next three nights at Gaylord National Resort on the Potomac. This spectacular waterfront resort has a stunning 19-story glass atrium and sweeping views of the Potomac River. You will be amazed at this magical wonderland with 2 million twinkling lights, nightly indoor snowfall, and the beautiful tree & lighting fountain shows. Get to know your travel friends better this evening during dinner. (D)
Day 2

WHITE HOUSE VISITORS CENTER • WASHINGTON, DC SIGHTSEEING • DINNER • CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE:

Enjoy breakfast and a leisure morning before heading into the heart of Washington, DC. At the White House Visitors Center, you can view over 90 artifacts from the White House Collection and explore the White House through their touchscreen tour. This afternoon, our sightseeing includes the monuments & memorials, and the beautifully decorated National Christmas Tree. Dinner is included this evening. Our plans are to attend a Christmas Eve service today (if one is available). (B, D)
Day 3

CHRISTMAS • “ICE!” • CAPITAL WHEEL • MT VERNON:

It’s Christmas! Take time this morning to enjoy breakfast at the resort. Today we enjoy “ICE!,” an indoor walkthrough holiday attraction, kept at a chilly 9 degrees including two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, five ice slides, and rooms exploring a variety of themed holiday scenes. You will be amazed at the beautiful decorations and ice carvings. Take a ride on the Capital Wheel, in the enclosed, climate controlled gondola, we soar 180 feet above the Potomac River waterfront. Sights visible include the White House and Capitol, National Mall, Arlington Cemetery, city of Alexandria, Prince George’s County, and the parklands throughout the region This afternoon we visit Mt. Vernon, the restored house and farm of George Washington. This American landmark, on the Potomac River, gives you a glimpse of the life of our first president. (B)
Day 4

HOME:

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and a leisurely morning at the resort. Mid-morning we travel home filled with the Christmas Spirit. (B)
