Day 1

SHENANDOAH VALLEY • PENNSYLVANIA:

Our delightful festival of flowers tour begins today as we sit back and enjoy the magic of spring. We travel through one of the most beautiful parts of the country, the Shenandoah Valley, en route to our overnight destination of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Day 2

CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS • DESTINY USA:

Today we enter the Empire State of New York. We’ll tour the outstanding Corning Museum of Glass. It’s more than a museum. It’s a science hall, a factory, and so much more. There are exhibits of more than 16,000 objects dating from 1500 BC. See molten glass skillfully formed and finished into fine Steuben Crystal works of art. Don’t forget to shop for bargains in the Corning Outlet Store. Our desti-nation this evening is Destiny USA, New York’s largest destination of it’s kind. There’s over 250 places to shop, dine or play. See the antique carousel and choose from an array of different restaurants & eateries. We overnight here in Syracuse.
Day 3

1000 ISLAND CRUISE & BOLDT CASTLE • OTTAWA • DINNER:

Today we travel to upstate New York and the 1000 Islands. We board our cruise and travel the scenic St. Lawrence River through Thousand Islands National Park. We experience magnificent Boldt Castle, the grandest of all the guilded age mansions. We cross the International Border into Canada traveling to the Capital City of Ottawa. Dinner is included this evening. We spend two nights in the area. (D)
Day 4

TULIP FESTIVAL • OTTAWA HIGHLIGHTS TOUR • RIDEAU CANAL CRUISE:

Today, in the scenic capital region of Ottawa, we’ll see tulips in bloom creating a mosaic of color and beauty. The Tulip Capital of North America will spring to life with colorful tulip displays lining beautiful Dows Lake. A local guide will give an informative highlights tour of everything you want to know about the National Capital Region’s Tulip History and the Canadian Tulip Festival. On the tour we see the Royal Canadian Mint, City Hall, the residences of the Governor General and Prime Minister and visit the ornamental gardens. This afternoon we take a cruise on the historic Rideau Canal. included this evening. (D)
Day 5

BOTANICAL GARDEN • MONTREAL HIGHLIGHTS TOUR • DINNER:

Today we travel to Quebec’s largest city, Montreal. Upon arrival to the city, we visit Montreal Botanical Garden. This garden is known for their multiple, along the cobblestone streets of Vieux Montreal. We meet our local guide and admire the grand mansions of Mount Royal and the modern downtown area. Our tour will also include the Basilica of Notre Dame de Montreal (if open to the public) and the site of the 1976 Olympics. This evening we overnight in the Montreal area and enjoy an included dinner. (D)
Day 6

BURLINGTON • LUNCH • LAKE CHAMPLAIN CRUISE:

Crossing back into the United States we arrive in the quaint little town of Burlington, Vermont. We have time to browse the quaint shops of the historic district. This afternoon we board the Spirit of Ethan Allen for a sightseeing cruise of Lake Champlain. We’ll discover the region’s rich history as the Captain’s narration unfolds tales of Indian lore, the Revolutionary War, and Ethan Allen himself. Explore the depths of the shoreline as the ship cruises alongside the lake’s unique geographic forma-tions. Savor the beauty of the Adirondack and Green Mountain ranges that surround the lake. We travel through the Adirondack region for our overnight. (L)
Day 7

NEMOURS MANSION & GARDENS • DINNER:

Crossing at the Delaware River, we arrive at Nemours Mansion & Gardens. This is the 300- acre country estate of the late industrialist and philanthropist, Alfred I. Du Pont. The 47,000 square ft. mansion looms over the surrounding formal gardens and is furnished with fine antiques, famous art work and other treasures. We enjoy an included dinner at one of the area’s well-known restaurants. We arrive in Maryland for overnight. (D)
Day 8

HOME:

Today ends a truly memorable tour with millions of tulips and lilacs, hospitable Canadian neighbors, lovely cities, and delicious foods. We arrive home early evening.
