There is no institution more dear to the world of country music than the Grand Ole Opry. Come along with us on a rollicking musical celebration to Nashville, where the Opry is celebrating its 99th anniversary! We’ll be checking into the hotel early this afternoon. Tonight we’ll take our seats at Nashville Nightlife for a bountiful dinner and a wonderfully upbeat show. We experience a celebration of country music from both past and present. We’ll hear songs from many of the great artists in country music history along with today’s hottest superstars. (D)

This morning we will join our local Nashville tour guide and begin our tour of the state’s capital city and world’s country music capital. See the State Capitol Building, Printer’s Alley and ride down Music Row and see recording studios where stars of yesterday and today record their hit songs. We’ll visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum presents its collection to illustrate country music’s story as told through the turns of two centuries. After dinner, we join the thousands of fans from across the country and around the world at the Grand Ole Opry for the 99th Birthday Celebration. Our seats are in Tier 2, near the stage. The Opryhouse seats 4,400, making it the largest recording studio in the world! There’s no telling who may show up for this birthday celebration– perhaps one of your favorites!
