"Kentucky - Food and Fun" promises a new tour filled with culinary and cultural experiences.
Our journey begins in Kentucky's picturesque hills as we head to Bowling Green. At Chaney's Dairy Barn, we enjoy a tour, exploring the dairy's innovations and savoring ice cream churned from their own farm-fresh milk. An included boxed dinner awaits at Chaney's before we retire to our hotel.
We kick off the adventure at the National Corvette Museum, housing over 80 Corvettes in various settings. We proceed to the RailPark and Train Museum, offering hands-on railroading experiences. Lost River Cave beckons with a boat tour, sharing its rich history. We then explore the South Union Shaker Village, concluding the day with dinner at Shaker's South Union Hotel.
Hopkinsville's "Field to Fork" tour takes us behind-the-scenes, showcasing locally grown food. We visit farms and enjoy an included lunch, offering an unforgettable agricultural experience. Our journey ends with a photo stop in Santa Claus, Indiana.
We immerse ourselves in the Kentucky Derby spirit with a visit to Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum. Next, we explore Schimpff's Confectionery to see candy drop-making in action. The Louisville Slugger Museum treats us to the history of the iconic Louisville Slugger bat and a boxed lunch. We visit the Frazier History Museum, home to a vast collection of toy soldiers and miniatures. The adventure concludes with entertainment and dinner at Derby Dinner Playhouse.
Our journey culminates with a stop at Buc-ee's, a shopper's haven offering snacks, brisket, souvenirs, and travel items. It's time to bid farewell to our Kentucky adventure.
