Day 1

CHANEY’S DAIRY BARN • BOWLING GREEN:

Pack your comfy clothes and get ready for some good music, good food and an out-of-the-park great time as we roll through the hills of Kentucky. Get ready for a sweet treat when we arrive in Bowling Green at Chaney’s Dairy Barn. We take a tour and see the innovations that have kept Chaney’s in the milking business since the 1940’s and made it the only place in Kentucky churning ice cream from their own fresh, farmed milk. Enjoy an included boxed dinner at Chaney’s before we make our way to our hotel. (D)
Day 2

NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM • RAILPARK AND TRAIN MUSEUM • LOST RIVER CAVE • SOUTH UNION SHAKER VILLAGE • DINNER:

This morning we visit the National Corvette Museum which features over 80 Corvettes in period settings, including mint classics, one-of-a-kind prototypes and modernday wonders of engineering and design. Next, we roll on to the historic RailPark and Train Museum to see, hear, touch, and explore railroading first-hand. At Lost River Cave, we board a boat for a journey back in time, hearing unforgettable stories of Lost River Cave as an ancient native hunting ground, a Civil War campground for both the Union and Confederacy, and even a hideout for the infamous outlaw Jesse James. We end the day at the historic site of the South Union Shaker Village. We explore this village community which existed from 1807-1922 and tour the buildings containing original furniture, crafts, textiles and manuscripts from the civil war era. We then enjoy a beautiful setting and delicious dinner at Shaker’s South Union Hotel. (D)

Our day ends with a photo stop in Santa Claus Indiana. Grab a post card. Write a note. Send hugs and love to your friends and family from Santa Claus! (L)
