Today we travel through the Shenandoah Valley to “The Sweetest Place on Earth,” Hershey, Pennsylvania. Our accommodations await us for the next three nights at the Hershey Lodge. Once you step into the lodge, you’ll immediately know you’re in Hershey. Enjoy unique accommodations complete with chocolate-themed artwork and decor.

Enjoy breakfast and a leisurely morning before we depart. Our first stop in Lancaster is at Kitchen Kettle Village, a shopping village with over 35 distinctive shops. This afternoon we meet our guide for a tour of the Amish County. Now it’s time for a spectacular evening at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre. We enjoy a bountiful dinner then see the production “Holly Jolly Holiday.” (B, D)

For well over 100 years, the word “Hershey” has been synonymous with the Great American Chocolate Bar. Now, the Hershey Story Museum takes you on an inspirational journey through the life of Milton S. Hershey, the man, his chocolate company, the town that bears his name, and his generous legacy. Ready for some Hershey’s chocolate? Here is your chance to purchase anything Hershey! At Hershey’s Chocolate World, we take a ride through the history and hear the process of chocolate making. This afternoon we travel to Lancaster and the American Music Theater for their Christmas production “Winter Wonderland.” The show features secular and sacred Christmas songs you know and love. This all-live performance features a sensational cast of singers and dancers, as well as the remarkable AMT Orchestra. Dinner is included at a popular family style restaurant. Before arriving back at the lodge, we visit Hershey Sweet Lights, a holiday drive-thru spectacular with over 600 illuminated, animated displays from the comfort of our motorcoach as we ride through two miles of wooded trails. After breakfast we must leave “The Sweetest Place on Earth” behind returning to our homes by evening with many fond Christmas memories to share! (B)
